17th March 2008 - Saudi to Invest $40 Billion to Boost Water Supply (NYT)

Saudi Arabia is to spend at least U.S dollars 40 billion over the next 20 years to ensure the Kingdom has adequate supplies of water to meet the needs of its growing population and expanding economy.
