14th March 2008 - Murdoch to open Middle East channels

News Corporation, Rupert Murdoch's organisation, is reported to be planning to launch two new English-language television channels in the Middle East. James Murdoch, Rupert Murdoch's son, has signed a deal with Prince AlWaleed bin Talal, whereby News Corporation will own and run the channels and Prince Alwaleed's company, Rotana, will handle advertising sales for a share of the revenues.
