Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier and Commander of the National Guard, received here today Palestinian Premier Ahmed Qurie and the accompanying delegation.
The Crown Prince held a luncheon in honor of the Palestinian official and the accompanying delegation. The audience and luncheon were attended by Prince Mitiib bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs, Prince Nawaf bin Abdulaziz, Chief of General Intelligence; Prince Saud Alfaisal, the Foreign Minister; Prince Abdulilah bin Abdulaziz; other princes; ministers and officials.
The Crown Prince later held at his palace in Riyadh a meeting with the Palestinian Premier. At the outset of the audience, the premier conveyed to the Crown Prince greetings of Palestine's President Yasser Arafat. In turn the Crown Prince sent his greetings to the President. During the meeting, they discussed the overall situation at Arab, Islamic and international levels. At the top of the agenda was the situation in the Palestinian arena, including Israel's invasion of the Palestinian cities and villages, the killing of the Palestinian citizens, the demolishing of houses and the imposing of curfew on the Palestinian cities and camps. They stressed the necessity for the world community to stop Israel's aggressions and seriously pursue the achievement of a just peace based on the international legitimacy.
On the Saudi side, the meeting was attended by Prince Mitiib bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs; Prince Nawaf bin Abdulaziz, Chief of General Intelligence; Prince Saud Alfaisal, the Foreign Minister; Prince Abdulilah bin Abdulaziz and Abdullah Zenal, the Minister of State and Cabinet Member. On the Palestinian side, it was attended by the Palestinian Authority's Foreign Minister Dr. Nabil Shaath and Minister of Housing and Public Works Dr. Abdulrahman Ahmed and Palestine's Ambassador to the Kingdom Mustafa Hashim Al-Sheikh Deeb.
