The Jeddah-based Saudi-German Business Group (SGBG) was launched on Saturday, as the Federal Republic of Germany marked its National Day.
Sheikh Khalid Juffali, Head of the Juffali Group of Industries, said that Dr Stephen Keller, the German Consul General, initiated the group.
A meeting was held for the launch of the group, which Sheikh M. Khashoggi, Chairman and CEO of the Amkest Group, and Sheikh Amr H. Enany, Vice Chairman of the Enany Group, attended.
At the meeting, Keller told the Saudi Gazette that he hoped the launch of the SGBG would promote a propitious environment to boost economic cooperation between the two countries.
