The Executive Director General of health affairs at the National Guard and Head of the surgical team for the operation of separating the Egyptian Siamese twins Dr Abdullah Al-Rabee'a conveyed the congratulations of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz; the Crown Prince; the Deputy Commander of the National Guard; other officials and the Saudi people to the family of the twins and the Egyptian people on the successful surgical separation of the twins in record time in Riyadh today.
At a press conference, Dr. Al-Rabee'a thanked the Crown Prince for his generosity for personally financing operations to separate four pairs of Siamese twins. He also thanked his colleagues of the medical team for the success of the operation which is he Kingdom’s seventh success in this field and the fourth for the King Abdulaziz Medical City of the National Guard in Riyadh.
For his part, Egypt's Ambassador to the Kingdom Mohammed Rafiq Khalil expressed his appreciation of and thanks to the Crown Prince for his care and concern for the operation which had been conducted at his own expense.
