Prince Khalid bin Sultan And Sweden's Defense Minister Hold Talks

Prince Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Assistant Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General for Military Affairs, and Sweden's Defense Minister, Dr. Leni Bjorklund held a session of talks here today.

In his speech, Prince Khalid thanked the Minister for warm welcome and generous hospitality accorded to him and the accompanying delegation.

He stressed that relations between the two countries have been strong for many years, emphasizing the importance of cooperation between the two countries in various fields particularly in military spheres. He noted that Sweden is one of countries with developed industries and technology which can be useful for developing the Saudi Armed Forces.

On her part, the Swedish defense minister highlighted good relations binding the two countries, emphasizing the importance of further cooperation in various fields, particularly in military spheres.

Then Prince Khalid and the Swedish minister replied to reporters' questions.

On the Saudi side, the session was attended by the Saudi ambassador to Sweden, Badr Bakhsh and Prince's accompanying delegation.
