A fatwa calling for the deaths of two Saudi newspaper columnists for apostasy, issued by a respected Saudi cleric, Sheikh Abdul-Rahman al-Barrak, has been condemned by Arab human rights groups and intellectuals. The controversy is indicative of the tensions within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia..
