05Apr2008 Saudi Orders Prison, Lashes for Canadian (NYT)

A 17 year-old Canadian citizen has been sentenced to one year in prison and 200 lashes for his involvment in the death of a classmate in January 2007. His older brother and a Jordanian citizen have been sentenced to death for the killing. The Canadian Government is seeking clemency.
