The Elders, a council of world leaders set up by Nelson Mandela, are sending a three person team (former President Jimmy Carter, former U.N. Secretary General Kofi Annan and former Irish president Mary Robinson) to the Middle East in an effort to ease tensions. Amongst several Middle East countries, they will include Saudi Arabia in their itinerary.
