The new Saudi Unversity, the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (Kaust), has signed three five year partnership agreements with three American Universities (Texas, Berkeley and Stanford) whereby the U.S. universities will help to establish the curricula for Kaust and will receive substantial grants for their own research and development work.
