President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran has undertaken an historic trip to Iraq. The first Iranian President ever to visit Iraq, he has been given a full ceremonial welcome by Iraq's President Jalal Talabani. The Shia Government in Baghdad is viewed with suspicion by Saudi Arabia which has not even opened an Embassy in the Iraqi capital following the overthrow of the Sunni Saddam Hussein.
