16Sep2005 Crown Prince Sultan Receives Iraqi Premier

New York, 16 September, 2005

Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, received here today the Iraqi premier, Dr. Ibrahim Aljaafri and the accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, they exchanged cordial talks and reviewed the latest developments in Iraq. The Crown Prince stressed the firm stand of the Kingdom, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, on the territorial integrity of Iraq and provision of all support to the Iraqi government and people to overcome their current circumstances.

Dr. Aljaafri stressed to the Crown Prince the strength of relations between the two countries and said they greatly improved for the benefit of the two countries and peoples.

Also during the meeting, they discussed prospects of cooperation between the two countries and ways of boosting them in all fields.

The meeting was attended by a number of princes and officials.
