16Sep2005 King Abdullah Receives Female Workers In Media And Culture

Jeddah, 16 September, 2005

As part of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz's care for media and cultural fields and to urge workers in this field to serve their religion, their country and society, and in view of their role in bolstering national unity and solidarity among the people of the country, he received here today an elite number of female workers in the media and cultural fields.

The Minister of Culture and Information, Mr. Iyad bin Amin Madani, expressed the gratitude of all the workers in the cultural and media fields for the king's attention.

He added that the meeting was a happy occasion for this elite number of female workers in the media and cultural fields to congratulate the King on accession to power and to hear his directives on media and culture and the required contribution of women to these two fields.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Madani and other officials.
