06Sep2005 King Abdullah Receives Credentials Of A Number Of Ambassadors

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz has received at his office at Alsalam palace in Jeddah today the credentials of a number of ambassadors of Arab, Islamic and friendly countries accredited to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The monarch received the letters of credence of the ambassador of the Republic of Venezuela Bolivaria Ramon Arera Naparo; Republic of Kenya Yousef Abdulrahman Anzebu; Republic of Federal Nigeria Senator Ibrahim Musa Kazori; Republic of Vietnam Dwan Ngok Bae; Republic of Uruguay Antonio Cambos Valgoy; Kingdom of Holland Nicolas Petes; Arab Republic of Egypt Mohammed Abdulhameed Qasem; Republic of Uganda Ibrahim Mukibi; Republic of Ireland Thomas Russell; Kingdom of Denmar Hans Klengenburg; Republic of Benin Mahmoud Laghali Ali; Republic of India Mohammed Othman Hasan Farooq; United Arab Emirates Saeed bin Hamdan Mohammed Alnaqbi; Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Mohammed Kabeer Frahi and Republic of France Charl Henry Daraghon.

The King welcomed the new ambassadors, wishing them good stay in the Kingdom.

He assured that they will receive utmost hospitality and cooperation from the Government and people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to help them perform their missions in ease and comfort and wished them every success. He sent his greetings to the kings, heads of state and leaders of their countries.

On their parts, the ambassadors conveyed the greetings of kings, heads of state and leaders of their countries to the monarch, wishing him every success.

They also thanked him for the warm welcome and generous hospitality being rendered to them since their arrival in the Kingdom, confirming their pride to work as envoys of their countries to the Kingdom under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.

The audience was attended by Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General; Prince Saud Alfaisal, the Foreign Minister; Prince Abdulaziz bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State, Member of the Cabinet and Chief of the Court of the Cabinet's Presidency; and senior protocol officials.

Each ambassador received customary treatment on such occasion.
