31Jul2005 Ministry Rewards 30 Firms for Meeting Saudization Quota

The Ministry of Labor has issued a statement saying that it has rewarded 30 companies for their cooperation with the Ministry in complying with their specified Saudization quota, the Arab News reported today.

The Labor Minister Dr. Ghazi Al-Gosaibi said the Ministry has provided a large number of work visas to selected private companies for maintaining their Saudization quotas, adding that the Ministry has agreed to issue some 28,110 work visas for 30 companies.

Dr. Al-Gosaibi lauded the companies for their cooperation and called on other firms to follow suit and cooperate with the Ministry, whether by establishing training institutes for graduates, or by employing Saudi graduates from college.

In the statement the Ministry listed each company and the number of work visas it was granted for complying with the Saudization quota.
