The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz has sent a cable of congratulations to Mahmood Ahmadi Nijad on the occasion of his election as the President of Iran.
The Monarch highlighted the existing fraternal relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Iran.
Similar cables of congratulations were sent to Nijad by Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Premier and Commander of the National Guard, and Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the Second Deputy Premier, Defense and Aviation Minister and Inspector General.
