Riyadh, 18 June 2005

The United Nations Children Fund (UNICEF) has received a sum of US$ 500,000 from the Saudi government as donation towards eliminating polio.

The Ministry of Health's Undersecretary for Executive Affairs, Dr. Mansour bin Nasser Al-Hawasi delivered the cheque to John Konoji, the UNICEF's representative in GCC states.
