09May2005 Saudi industries to establish a foothold in South American markets

Brasilia, Brazil, 9 May 2005

The Saudi Exports Development Program, an affiliate of the Riyadh-based Saudi Development Fund, has taken part in the exhibition held on the fringes of the First Forum for Businessmen from South American and Arab countries which was opened here today.

In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency, Abdulmohsin bin Abdulrahman Alkhayal, an official of the program, said the program's participation in the event hosted by Brasilia attained great importance in terms of support for Saudi products and exporters.

He said the program is planning to open new markets for Saudi exporters and introduce Saudi products to South American consumers. The Saudi products ready for exportwill receive the fund's financial guarantee and support.
