27Apr2005 Prince Sultan gives donation to Arab Woman Studies Center

Cairo, 27 April 2005

Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Second Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General has donated a sum of $150,000 to the Studies Center of Arab Woman Contribution, an affiliate of the Arab League. Saudi Representative to the Arab League Ambassador Ahmed Al-Qattan handed over a check for this amount during a meeting with Amr Mousa, the League's Secretary General here today.

The donation came as a contribution from Prince Sultan to the prize annually awarded by the center to ten Arab distinguished women. An award ceremony will be held here later today for the winners this year including Saudi Dr. Salwa Al-Hazza' and Haifa Jamal Alleil, the Dean of Iffat College in the Kingdom.
