25Nov2004 Arab Thought Foundation to Hold Meeting

On 1st to 4th Nov, 2004, Marrakech will host the Arab Thought Foundation’s third conference, to be held under the motto: 'Arabs between the Culture of Change and Change of Culture'.

The conference will be organized under the patronage of King Mohammed VI of Morocco and the chairmanship of Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, the Governor of Assir region and President of the Arab Thought Foundation.

Conference participants will review the Arab cultural, economic, political and social situation as well as issues pertaining to openness to other civilizations, notably the Western Civilization.

The first conference of the Arab Thought Foundation was held in Cairo in 2001, while the second conference was held in Beirut in 2002. The Arab Thought Foundation, established in 2001, is a non-governmental organization. The Foundation is keen to encourage the sciences and innovation.
