Interior Minister Prince Naif bin Abdul Aziz highlighted the significant role played by security forces to boost security and stability in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Addressing commanders of security forces, notables of Makkah Region and senior civil and military officials who came to greet him on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr last night, Prince Naif said that the security forces have exerted constant, determined efforts to combat militants and any threat to the security of citizens and residents in the Kingdom.
Prince Naif expressed his hope that members of the deviant group would revise their behaviour, repent their sins and ask the forgiveness of God.
Imam of Al-Rahma Mosque in Jeddah urged the security authorities to exert further intensive efforts to combat the deviant group and severely to punish perpetrators of terrorist acts.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Interior Minister Prince Ahmad bin Abdul Aziz; Governor of Jeddah Prince Mishal bin Majed bin Abdul Aziz; Assistant Interior Minister for Security Affairs Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdul Aziz; notables of Makkah Region; and a number of senior civilian and military officials.
