11Aug2004 6,000 people benefit from WAMY medical convoy to Kyrgyzstan

Riyadh, 11th August 2004

The World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) recently sent a medical convoy to the Republic of Kyrgyzstan for a fifteen-day period. During the fifteen days, over six thousand people benefited from free medical treatment and educational services provided by the convoy, which visited ten towns and villages in the Kyrgyz province of Narin.

Assistant Secretary General of WAMY Dr Abdulwahab Noorwali said that a number of scholars and prominent personalities participated in the program.
