17Jul2004 Interior Ministry announce surrender of militant

Riyadh, 17th July 2004

An official source at the Interior Ministry said that wanted Saudi citizen Ibrahim Al-Sadiq Al-Bakri Al-Qaidi, who surrendered to the Saudi Embassy in Damascus, arrived in the Kingdom following negotiations between the Syrian and Saudi governments.

Al-Qaidi surrendered under the amnesty offered by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz. Preparations are underway to enable his family to visit him in custody.
