An official source at the Interior Ministry today announced that security forces located and killed two of the militants who escaped after perpetrating the Al-Khobar terrorist attacks.
On Tuesday 13/04/1425H at 6:30pm security forces cornered the culprits in an isolated area of Al-Hada Region on the Taif - Makkah highway. When the suspects realized that they were surrounded, they began shooting at security forces and abandoned their car, attempting to escape via a mountainous slope where security forces pursued them until they were cornered in a narrow alley at 6.00am on Wednesday. The men began to throw grenades and shoot at the security officers, who returned fire, killing the two militants.
