30May2004 King Fahd orders distribution of 277,874 copies of Holy Quran

Riyadh, 30th May 2004

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz issued an order for distribution of 277,874 copies of the Holy Quran among a number of governmental bodies and Islamic establishments in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and abroad.

The copies of the Holy Quran in Arabic, with attached translations and interpretation in various languages, are published at King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Quran.

The Minister of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Call and Guidance, Sheikh Saleh bin Abdul Aziz Al Al-Sheikh, said in a statement that a large number of Islamic establishments in the Kingdom and abroad will benefit from the King’s decree.
