06Apr2004 Saudi Red Crescent Society grants $100,000 assistance for Iraqis

Brussels, 6th April 2004

On behalf of the Saudi Red Crescent Society, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Belgium and the European Union (EU) Nasser Al-Assaf today gave a $100,000 cheque to Emar Charitable Society, which is led by Member of the European Parliament Foreign Affairs Committee Emma Nicholson. The Society is a specialist body working to assist the Iraqi people.

Arab Ambassadors accredited to Brussels and Members of the European Parliament attended the occasion.
