An official source at the Interior Ministry announced that Saudi security forces today chased and killed a wanted suspect and injured another in a shootout in a district of Riyadh.
The source said that security forces located a wanted car, a Toyota Hilux with stolen number plates, in an eastern district of Riyadh at 6:10pm. Ignoring orders by the security patrol to stop, the two men in the car began firing shots and tried to flee. Security forces pursued the car, exchanging fire with the men. The shooting killed one of the wanted men and injured the other. Further investigations are underway into the identities of the men.
