Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Eng Ali bin Ibrahim Al-Naimi on Tuesday held a meeting with Head of the International Energy Agency (IEA) Claude Mandil, who is currently visiting the Kingdom.
They reviewed the international oil market and aspects of joint cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the IEA.
Speaking on the occasion, Al-Naimi reiterated the great attention accorded by the Kingdom to developments regarding the international oil market, and its keenness to promote market stability to serve the interests of both oil-producer and consumer countries.
The meeting was attended by Prince Abdul Aziz bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources for Petroleum Affairs, and a number of other senior officials.
