The Minister of Commerce and Industry, Dr Hashim bin Abdullah Yamani, on Sunday met the designate Ambassador of the United States of America to the Kingdom, James Oberwetter, to discuss the tenth session of the working group for the Kingdom’s accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO), recently held in Geneva.
They also discussed bilateral relations, particularly the means of boosting economic, trade and industrial cooperation. Trade volume between the two countries reached SR73, 248 million by the close of the year 2002.
