Prince Salman bin Abdul Aziz, the Governor of Riyadh Region, will on Sunday patronize the Riyadh International Telecommunications and Information Technology Conference.
The five-day conference is organized by the Saudi Telecommunications Company (STC), overseen by the Ministry of Telecommunications and Information Technology, in cooperation with Riyadh Exhibitions Company.
Eng Khalid Al-Mulhim, President of STC, said that privatisation of the telecommunications sector has had a positive impact on the country’s national income and the development of skills.
A number of regional, Arab and international organizations operating in the telecommunications sector will participate in the conference. Participants will review a number of topics, including major challenges that face the telecommunications sector, models of successful experiences in the field of telecommunications, and the role of the telecommunications sector in boosting economic growth in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
