The 14th meeting of the Executive Bureau for the Council of Arab Telecommunications and Information Ministers began here on Tuesday, under the Chairmanship of Egyptian Minister of Telecommunications Dr Ahmad Nadheef.
The Executive Bureau comprises Ministers of Telecommunications from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the Untied Arab Emirates, Morocco and Palestine, and representatives from Syria and the Arab League. The Kingdom’s delegation to the meeting is led by Minister of Telecommunications and Information Technology Eng. Mohammed Jamil bin Ahmad Mulla.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Ahmad Nadheef stressed the importance of enhancing cooperation between Arab countries in the field of telecommunications and information technology.
Participants of the meeting are scheduled to review a number of topics including Arab strategic projects in the field of telecommunications and information technology.
