10Jan2004 Institute to organise scientific forum for Hajj research

The Institute of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for Hajj Research at the Makkah-based Umm Al-Qura University is to organize the fourth scientific forum for hajj research, scheduled for 19 January.

Participants of the forum will focus on issues pertaining to traffic and transport during the Hajj season. A number of specialists in the field of transport and Hajj from various ministries and relevant governmental and non-governmental authorities, in addition to a number of academics, will participate in the forum.

Twenty-six papers on the security and safety of pilgrims, and health, medical and transportation services are scheduled for discussion at the forum.
