06Jan2004 17,250 Palestinians to benefit from Saudi food baskets

The Public Union of Palestinian Trade Syndicates has begun distributing food baskets in Gaza governorates, which were financed by the Saudi Committee for Relief of the Palestinian People. The Committee works under the supervision of Prince Naif bin Abdul Aziz, the Interior Minister.

In a statement, the Union said that contents of the food baskets will be distributed to approximately 17,250 Palestinian families.

Head of the Union, Rasem Al-Bayari, lauded the Kingdom’s continual support of the Palestinian people.
