Security forces on Monday located Ibrahim bin Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Rayyis, who was among suspects wanted by the Kingdom’s security authorities whose names were published on 7 December 2003 (13/10/1424H).
An official source at the Interior Ministry said that, in accordance with information provided by a citizen, security officials pursued Ibrahim Al-Rayyis on Monday morning. When the security forces were about to arrest Al-Rayyis near a petrol station south-west of Riyadh, he began to shoot at them. The security forces returned fire, killing the suspect. No security officials were injured during the incident.
Security forces found forged documents and a hand grenade on Al-Rayyis and searched his residence, where they found three hand grenades, a machine gun, three pistols, and a substantial quantity of ammunition.
The official source lauded the cooperation of citizens with security authorities to pursue Al-Rayyis and other suspects wanted by security authorities for their involvement in activities aimed at undermining the Kingdom’s security and stability. The source urged those who are wanted by authorities to surrender.
