08Dec2003 Al Al-Sheikh to chair OIC Islamic Affairs Ministers’ Conference

Riyadh, 8th December 2003

The Minister of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Call and Guidance, Sheikh Saleh Al Al-Sheikh, will on Tuesday leave for Beirut, where he will preside over the eighth session of the Executive Council of the Ministers of Endowments and Islamic Affairs of member states of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC), which is to be inaugurated on Wednesday under the patronage of Lebanese Premier Rafiq Al-Hariri.

In a press statement, Al Al-Sheikh, said that the participants of the meeting will review a number of topics, including recommendations submitted by the seventh conference of Islamic Ministers of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, which was held last year in Malaysia.

Al Al-Sheikh praised the significant role played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in service of Islam and Muslims throughout the world.
