02Dec2003 1,465 people embrace Islam during Ramadan

Riyadh, 2nd December 2003

1,465 people of different nationalities embraced Islam between 1/7/1423H and 30/7/1424H, according to a report published today by the Cooperative Office for Call and Guidance in Sultana Quarter, Riyadh.

The report said that 202 people embraced Islam during the holy month of Ramadan, and 85 people embraced Islam during the Eid Al-Fitr holidays.

The Office has distributed free copies of the Holy Quran and its explication and Islamic cassettes, which are produced by the Madinah-based King Fahd Holy Quran Printing Complex, to the new converts.
