Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Premier and Commander of the National Guard, will on Saturday patronize the ceremony organized on the occasion of laying the foundation stone for the projects of the second phase of King Saud University City and the project of the Girls’ University City.
Dr Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Faisal, the Director of King Saud University, said in a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) that Crown Prince Abdullah would lay the foundation stone for the faculties of applied medical sciences, computer studies and data, architecture and planning, languages and translation, and other educational facilities.
He will also lay foundation stones for the following: the King Fahd Centre for Heart Diseases and Surgery; the medical supplies building at King Khalid University Hospital; the expansion project at King Khalid University Hospital, including intensive care and emergency units; the health projects in Al-Malaz quarter, east of Riyadh, which include the female students’ dentistry building, the expansion project of King Abdul Aziz University Hospital, the medical supplies building at King Abdul Aziz University Hospital, and other facilities.
Crown Prince Abdullah will also lay the foundation stone for the Girls’ University City in Al-Direyya quarter.
Dr Al-Faisal said that the cost of these projects amounts to approximately SR3 billion.
