The Paris-based Arab World Institute held a symposium on “Woman and Society During the Era of King Fahd”, it was reported today.
The event, organized in cooperation with the Riyadh-based Ministry of Higher Education, was attended by a large number of Arab and foreign politicians, writers and intellectuals, the Saudi Ambassador to France, Faisal Al-Hujailan, Saudi Cultural Attaché, Dr Saud Al-Ziab, and Saudi Arabia’s permanent representative at UNESCO, Dr Fu’ad Al-Adel.
A number of speakers, including Dr Abdulqader Tash, who lectured on research centres in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Editor-in-Chief of the French newspaper Le Monde, Princess Rima Al-Faisal, and Dr Hind Al-Khuthailah, took part in the symposium.
