The Assistant Under Secretary of the Ministry of Information for Radio Affairs, Mohammad bin Othman Al-Mansour, on Monday met the Yemeni Minister of Information, Hussein Dhaifullah Al-Awadi.
During the meeting, the two sides stressed the importance of enhancing media cooperation, particularly in the field of radio, through the exchange of visits, and the joint production of radio material.
They also stressed the importance of media cooperation taking into account current regional and international challenges, and highlighting Arab and Islamic identity.
Al-Mansour, who is currently heading the Kingdom’s delegation on a visit to Yemen, today toured a number of media establishments, including the Radio and Television of Sanaa. During the tour, Al-Mansour was briefed by Senior Yemeni officials on current efforts to develop broadcasting in line with the requirements of social and cultural development.
