Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak is to visit Saudi Arabia on Tuesday for talks on the U.S. standoff with Iraq and the situation in the Palestinian territories, a source close to the Egyptian leader’s office said.
The French news agency ‘AFP’ quoted Al-Ahram Al-Missai Arabic newspaper saying that Mubarak’s trip is part of his “efforts to avert the dangers facing the Arab world, both from the Iraq crisis and the Palestinian question”.
